NASSAU STREET HOCKEY LEAGUE |

| The Nassau Street
Hockey League was started back in 2000 by Canadian ex-pats and local
Bahamians. What started in the Royal Bank parking lot is now played
on an official sized rink at the Sand Trap Restaurant & Bar. League
games are played every Wednesday night at 8pm under the lights. Exhibition
/ pick-up games are played every Monday night at 8pm and everyone is
welcome to participate. A controversial draft is held each year to decide each teams roster. The league is currently made up of four teams that battle throughout the season for the ultimate prize … the Stanley Conch. Regular hockey rules apply with the exception of hitting and slapshots. Games are 60 minutes long, consisting of three 20 minute periods. Please note that at each game, music is played and drinks are served … it’s a nice alternative for a Wednesday night. Feel free to contact us and thank you for visiting our site. We look forward to seeing you at a game soon! |
